2002 Forgeron Cellars Merlot (Walla Walla, Columbia Valley) - 1.5L

Tasting notes: The color is reminiscent of a beautiful dark plum garnet. On the nose, your senses awaken with the aromas of dark chocolate, blackberries and vanilla beans. The first sip envelopes your mouth in silky velvet, with flavors of bittersweet chocolate, spices and black pepper combined with a touch of dark cherries. The harmony between the acid and tannins is like a symphony, with the extended and focused mouth feel the resonating last note played. 

 

Wines That Work - GM Operations, James - This is one of my personal faviorate Merlot's from Walla Walla let along Washington State. A big dark Merlot that is silky and almost buttery when you sip this wine.  Incredible month feel.  I recommend this as a MUST BUY!
